[네덜란드 놀이터]Laan van spartaan/Carve

Laan van Spartaan은 암스테르담 외곽의 새로운 도시 개발구역이다. VVA  VVA Spartaan과 과 Sportshall Jan van Galen의 이전 작업에는 2016 년까지 1000 개가 넘는 공간이 계획되었다.이곳에서 새로운 운동장, 사무실, 학교 및 공동체 시설. 빌렘 아우구스틴 스트리트에 있는 란 반 스파르타 안의 제방은 플레이 존으로 지정되었다. 그러나 200m 길이의 스트립은 자전거 도로와 낮은 도로로 구획되어있기 때문에 이 위치에는 실제로 1.50m보다 넓은 놀이기구를 설치 할 수 없었다. 위치의 한계는 디자인의 시작점으로 사용되었고 시설물의 높이를 높이고 동선을 최소화함으로써 제한된 공간을 최대한 활용하였다. 각 25 미터 길이의 3 개의 플레이 존은 연령대에 따라 놀이기능이 분류되어 있다. 북부 공간은 특히 어린 아이들을 위해 설계되었으며, 중간 구역 (놀이터와 해먹 포함)은 다소 나이 많은 아이들을 고려하였다. 남쪽의 가장 도전적인 플레이 존에는 높이가 5m 이상으로 올라가 전체 스트립의 탁 트인 전망을 볼 수 있다. “무모한 자만이 여기에 올 것이다!” 플레이 스트립의 초기 개념으로 프로세스 중에 크게 바뀌지 않았지만 기술 공학적으로 모든 각도, 높이 및 캔틸레버로 인해 큰 도전으로 이었다.

 

'Portiekportiers'( '포치 포터'와 같은 의미)라는 헤더 아래에 조직 된 이웃의 아이들은 지역 사회에서 활동을 조직할 때 적극적이었는데, 디자인 과정에서 그들은 여러 번 상담을 받았고 브레인 스토밍 세션 동안 그들은 플레이 존으로 'Willem Augustinpark'라는 이름을 선택했다. 뿌리가없는 공동체는 아이들이 놀 수 있고 부모가 만날 수 있는 공간에서 큰 혜택을 받게 된다.은이 역할을 열정으로 가득 채우며 근거리에서 보이는 가시성은 주변 지역의 어린이들도 이 공간을 발견했다는 하도록 유도한다.

 

 

Laan van Spartaan is a new city development just outside the ringroad of Amsterdam. On the former site of footballclub VVA Spartaan and Sportshall Jan van Galen more than 1000 living units will be built until 2016. Renowned architects – among which Claus en Kaan, Dick van Gameren, Diederen Dirrix, MVRDV and DP6 – designed the housing blocks, a new sportshall, offices, a school and communitiy facilities.

The dike along Laan van Spartaan, on the Willem Augustinstreet, was designated as playzone. The 200 meter long strip, however, is squeezed in by a bike path and a lowered road, which is why the location actually could not contain any play equipment broader than 1.50 m.

The limitations of the location were taken as a starting point for the design. By raising the play objects, increasing the height and giving them a minimal footprint, the maximum of the limited space was used. Three playzones, each 25 meters long, offer playoptions for different age groups. The northern space is designed especially for younger children, while the middle zone – with play houses and hammocks – attracts somewhat older children. The southern and most challenging playzone contains a climbing garland, which curls up to more than 5 meters height, offering a panoramic view on the whole strip. Only daredevils will go up here! Whilst the initial concept of the playstrip was there at the very beginning – and didn't change much during the process – the technical engineering turned out to be a great challenge, due to all different angles, heights and cantilevers.

Children from the neighbourhood, who are organised under the header 'Portiekportiers' (meaning as much as 'porch-porter'), have been pro-active when it comes to organising activities in their community. During the design process they were consulted several times and during the brainstorm-sessions they chose the name 'Willem Augustinpark' for the playzone. A community that does not have roots, yet, greatly benefits from spaces were children can play and parents can meet. Laan van Spartaan fullfills this role with fervour. Furthermore, the visibility of the climbing objects from afar contributes to the fact that also children from surrounding neighbourhoods discovered this playspace.

조금 삭막 할 수 있는 주변의 건물들 속에 숨어 있는 Laan van spartaan를 방문 해본 적이 있다. 찾는데 꽤 많은 시간이 걸렸고 사이트 주변은 천이 흐르지만 다소 무겁고 차가운 분위기로 이루어져있다. 하지만 사이트 내의 놀이시설은 네온 빛에 가까운 컬러를 사용하여 시야에 잘 들어왔고 마치 거대하고 높은 조형물을 보는듯 했다. 사이트가 아주 길게 세 구역으로 나뉘는데 마치 좁은 조경 공간을 활용한것 같았다. 가장 높은 난이도의 도전적인 플레이존을 체험 해 보았는데 생각보다 가파르고 꼬불꼬불한 길을 길게 따라가면 어느덧 정상에 닿아 있다. 그물망이 있어 안전하지만 시각적으로 봤을때 짜릿함을 느낄 수 있다. Carve의 놀이터는 대체로 철재와 매쉬, 로프등을 감각있게 사용하는 네덜란드 대표 놀이시설브랜드이다. 그들의 디테일과 조형성은 언제나 어린 아이들부터 디자이너의 마음까지 사로잡고 있다.
